Sant Vicent is another village on the borough and has a very small population. Only 8 people are registered on the census as living in the nucleus with another 289 people scattered around. The town’s beautiful coastline houses two hotels and a small urbanisation, and overall, has provision for around about 1000 tourists; smaller but no less beautiful!

A key tourist attraction is the “Cova des Cuieram”, an underground temple of Cartagenian origin and which is currently being restored. First discovered in 1907, the cave was found to be 200ms high and contained some 600 terracotta figures, 1000 more figureheads and pieces of pottery amongst other relics.

Perhaps the most impressive of the pottery found in “Cova des Cuieram” are the bell-shaped figures. Decorated with ancient symbols and in some cases, with faces covered with a thin layer of gold, theses figures represent the female. As far as chronology is concerned, experts consider that the site was in use from the end of the 5th until the 2nd century B.C.

Sant Vicent Ferrer is the patron saint of the village, and his feast day is celebrated on 5th April with traditional festivities similar to those of the others in the neighbourhood.
